QA General Engineer
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, software testing methodologies, and QA processes.
- Experience with functional, regression, and exploratory testing for web and/or mobile.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Ability to write clear, structured, and detailed test cases and defect reports.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar).
- Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic programming knowledge (Java or TypeScript preferred) and SQL database - a strong plus.
- ISTQB certification - a plus.
- English level: B2+.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking systems.
- Validate bug fixes and perform thorough retesting of resolved issues.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and automation engineers to ensure high product quality and clarify requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Support automation engineers by identifying high-value test cases that should be automated.
- Ensure testing activities follow best practices and align with QA processes and industry standards.
