Business Development Manager


We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help build and scale our presence across EMEA. This is a full-cycle sales role for a confident hunter who can generate pipeline, build relationships, and close deals independently.

You will represent a fast-growing software services company specialising in AI-augmented software development, working closely with the CEO and technical presales team to win new business across Europe.



Required Experience & Skills

  • 4-8 years of experience in B2B tech sales/BD, ideally in software services or dev tools
  • Proven experience as a full-cycle closer (not just lead generation or SDR)
  • Comfortable selling to the CEO / CTO / senior leadership
  • Strong track record of generating deals through events and conferences
  • Ability to discuss AI, software development, and engineering teams credibly
  • Highly independent, self-driven, and comfortable owning a territory
  • Based in Dublin or London, willing to travel 50%+ across EMEA
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


Nice to have

  • Experience selling software services, consulting, or developer tools
  • Existing network in enterprise or mid-market tech
  • Additional European languages (German, French, Nordic languages)


What you’ll be doing

  • Own and grow a sales territory across EMEA.
  • Generate opportunities through events, conferences, and outbound relationship-building
  • Manage the full sales cycle: discovery → proposal → close → handoff to delivery.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline in HubSpot
  • Develop and grow a referral and partner network across Europe
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Collaborate with the CEO and technical presales on complex or strategic deals


What success looks like

  • First deals closed within the first 90 days
  • Consistent pipeline growth quarter over quarter
  • Strong, long-term relationships with prospects and referral partners
  • Trusted presence representing the company in the European market
